Information about using Kuali
In the Kuali training sessions this year (2026), the deans/chairs present asked for a cheat sheet on what determines ‘editorial changes’ versus ‘needs approval’. Here is that information.
Editorial only:
- Change of terms
Editorial button, but will go on the consent agenda:
- Minor edits to course description
- Lab fee changes
- Pre-req changes
Needs approval and will go on the regular Agenda:
- Course or Program name changes
- New courses
- Deletion of courses
- Program changes (New, Delete, or Change)
