When you are researching, you may find that you need to download a paper from one of the digital libraries. When that happens, look into the Digital Libraries available through Southern. When writing papers for Dr. A, please familiarize yourself with DrAndersonsRulesForWritingPapers which also contains other hints for writing.

All students should acquaint themselves with the policies and procedures document here.

This /MastersCheckList shows a timeline for completion of the various requirements. For a full list of requirements see the policies document above.

I have created a proposed template for Thesis/Project/Proposal reports using It follows the Turabian style guide. This particular one includes chapters appropriate for the project proposal. See Graduate Policies for details of each report type. When you make your presentation (proposal or final presentation), you need to have a signature page ready for your professors to sign. The template for that is here.

Policies Related to Maintaining your Status as a Graduate Student

Violation of any of these requirements will result in you being considered for dismissal from the program. The following rules are specified by Southern.

1. Maintain a 3.00
2. No more than 2 B- grades
3. No Grade below a C

There is also one more requirement added by the School of Computing.

1. Students can't repeat more than 2 classes to increase their GPA
