Complex ideas are best explored in examples - Dick Hardt's presentation at OSCON OSCON_Keynote_Lg.mp4.zip is an excellent example. Although you may not adopt his style, it works extremely well for his presentation.
- Don't present material that you don't expect people to understand. That mostly means code is out. If you think people may want to look at your code, then reference it with a link to an online resource and move on.
