= Creating a Polygon Outline =

This assumes that you have a TIN that you want to make an outline of.

 1. In ArcScene, use: 3D Analyst Tools, Conversion, From TIN, TIN Edge - to make a poly ShapeFile (will include all lines from the triangles).
 1. Edit the ShapeFile from above in ArcMap and delete all interior lines. 
    a. Editor Menu, Start Editing. 
    a. Task: Cut Polygon Features. 
    a. You can actually highlight multiple lines and hit delete.
    a. Editor Menu, Save edits and Stop Editing
 1. Convert the polyshape into a polygon:
    a. Data Management Tools, Features, Feature to Polygon Tool
    a. Save the polygon by clicking OK
