ACA study Abroad Checklist

Students thinking about spending a year abroad at (Adventist Colleges Abroad) ACA should familarize themselves with the following:

  1. Attachment
  2. visit the ACA website that has just been revamped, and to do it frequently as new information/instructions may come up considering the volatile world we are living in currently;
  3. print their application file, including page 1, then obtain the following signatures in this order (1,2,3 in any order):
    1. Advisor/Chair of your Department or School
    2. Student Development, also known as Dean of Student Affairs
    3. Director of Admissions
    4. Campus ACA Coordinator (Dr. P. Nzokizwa), or Chair of Modern Languages Dept. (Dr. A. Royo)
    5. Student Finance designated officer for ACA matters.
    6. Records & Advisement Office

Note: The Finance Office will transmit your file to the ACA headquarter in Maryland. Typically, within 2-3 weeks, you will receive a return envelope with all the instructions regarding your pre-departure preparation, including the visa process.

Summer Applicants

Ya'll have a shortened signature requirement:

  1. Records & Advisement Office

  2. Campus ACA Coordinator (Dr. P. Nzokizwa), or Chair of Modern Languages Dept. (Dr. A. Royo)
  3. Student Finance designated officer for ACA matters.
